GRS – A certification for recycled materials. The abbreviation stands for Global Recycling Standard, and is used as a tool for us as a company to be able to control the quality, standard and amount of recycled material in our products. It is also a certification that guarantees you, as a consumer, correct and honest communication.
The standard is mostly similar to GOTS, you could say that GRS is the recycled material equivalent of GOTS for natural fibers. This means that both the production and the product are tested for chemicals and heavy metals according to the same requirements as GOTS.
